She ordered package A. It was $140 I think. The video will come from Fed Ex so check and make sure it wasn't left out on your porch or something. :) You can see Loran so good in the video. It is great to be able to watch her and hear her voice.

Lala- did your sailor buy the package that costed 160.00 or something like that? My sailor doesn't ever tell me anything...I live closer than you and I didn't get anything...My sailor plays the white tuba...My hooterville mail probably delivered it to someone else. That happens all the time here.

Rus is in phase 2 also, so maybe we will be going to Pensacola after all. Loren and Rus should be pretty much much in the same place on stuff. I do agree with you totally about being way to young to get married. It worked out for us..but we went through alot of really hard times...Rus is 26 years old...So we all kinda grew up together...

I got married at 17 as well, and I wish I had listened to my dad. I was way too young. I wouldn't have as big a problem with it if I felt like they really knew each other. But I will try to be supportive either way. I feel like I need to pour a bucket of ice water on both of them and say "wake your a** up" lol. And I really do hope he gets approved for the chit. I wish Loran had gotten approved but hers was denied. I guess they told her only in an emergency during phase 2. :(

Lala- I will let you know if we go to Pensacola, but my sailor is really wanting to come home bad...
Michimom-Congrats...I will keep my fingers crossed you get to visit your son for the weekend, that would be so great. I will also light my candle.

Lala-Yeah they probably hav to go to a courthouse or the base to get the lic..and if she isn't phase 3 she will have to return to base by midnight..Hopefully..everything will be fine...Just stay positive...If she was my daughter I would be so crazy about this...I would definately not want her to get married, she is so young...but at the same time you have to supportive to her also just so she always knows she can always come to her mom no matter what...i got married when I was 17, my mom hated my husband, we have been married 28 years...my mom has to eat those words everyday...I still have hard feelings about that towards my mom...but I wouldn't want m daughter to get married if I was you either...

That is awesome Michimom!!!!! I am so happy for you :D I will light my candle and say prayers for him. Please let us know when you get that call tomorrow afternoon. I know it has been a long hard road but it was worth it. I am glad you can go see him. You must be on cloud 9.

Great news! Just got a call on my way in to work.

My son was declared FFD on Tuesday, passed his final PFA, did firefighting, and will do Battle Stations tonight with Div. 291! He won't do PIR, though, since he'll go to the THU (Temporary Holding Unit), while he waits for a slot in Nuke School to open up for him. We may be able to visit him this weekend--talk about last minute, but who's complaining? Not me.

I had tears in my eyes when he told me, but I held them back so he wouldn't think I was a blubbering mom. Sheeze, if I felt like this, I just know he did, too (just not the blubbering part, LOL). I am so nervous and excited for him!

So, ladies, put yourself back in pre-Battle Stations mode, please, and say some prayers for my son. If you could light your blue candles, too, if they haven't burned down, that sure wouldn't hurt. Woo hoo!
