Hey Bobbi, She didn't say who she spoke with but I knew it was you and thank you so much. I will tell her when she calls this afternoon. I love getting to talk to her every day. That is awesome. Loran said the same thing about the classes, lots of scary statistics they are learning right now.

I have a pretty good camera and I took a lot of pics at PIR hoping to get some good ones for my sistahs, so keep checking on my page for more pics. It takes forever and it will only let me upload 8 at a time but I should have them all posted within the next few days. Let me know if you see you Sailor.

Okay ladies I tweeked the name a little bit... I had to, it just seemed right.

Proud Mom, No, my car wasn't broken into. Thanks God. I don't know if I could have handled much more. It did run like crap for a while after driving through knee high water. I hate that someone had to experience a break in. That is always scary.

Welcome Binkers mom and everyone else. I am so glad to see everyone joining us here. But where the heck is Ruthann?

Bobbi tell your son thanks for being so nice to my daughter. She says he is really sweet. Maybe he can keep an eye on her. She said some guys down there are already flirting and she doesn't want any part of it.... says she doesn't have time for guys lol. Then she said "Mom, do you know how many STD's there are out there?" I guess they have had some interesting indoc classes already.

ncnavy mom, that is a lot of driving, believe me I know lol. We will be leaving very early Sat morning to go to New Port Richey for 2 weeks of much needed vacation. Phil's girls asked if I was packed and I said all I need are my sunglasses, swimsuit, flip flops, and my book... I am so ready :)

So the journey continues...thank God had the day off today...was pretty tired and more emotional than I thought I was going to be! Went to run errands and phone rang..didn't recognize the number but answered & it was a gentleman setting up an appt. for my son's security clearance. At the same time I was on the phone with the agent, my son called thru...missed his call!!!!! Darn!!!! After the 40-min interview, that I believe went well, ran out to overnight his phone and missed the last truck at the post office by 1/2 hour! Like I've said before, Welcome To Military Life!!!!

What an amazing week but tiring ; since last Wed my dtr and I have drove 2500 miles; 1st to Chicago then on to Charleston to take the much needed essentials (computer, tv and xbox) ... wonder how he managed without those for 8weeks? and I agree the texting world is wonderful... I can't wait to share the rest of the journey with you ladies!

It is so cool to hear what everyone is doing now... teachertoo that cracks me up. Too funny.
Lynne- I love Navarre Beach. My sister-in-law lived in Milton for 8 years before moving to Pensacola. We visited her 4 or 5 times a yr every year and me and the kids would go down and stay 3 or 4 weeks every summer. One of the benefits to working in the school system lol. My Kids grandfather still lives near Milton in Bagdad. We used to stay at the Holiday Inn on Navarre at least one week each summer just so we could be close to the ocean. I loved that place and hate that the hurricane took it away. It really breaks my heart that the oil spill is affecting that area because it is so close to my heart. I am very happy that you have decided to stay here with us. You are a part of us now and it wouldn't be the same without you. Send me your mailing address. I have a lovely gift for you that is sure to make you fat and sassy :)

Goodnight all

Loran called today and already has a list of more things to send her lol.
