Hi cms, my son left for bc on 3/21/11, he also will be an OS.  I wonder if they will be in the same division.

Hello to all Navy Moms.  I am a new Navy Mom.  My son left for boot camp on 3/24/11.  I would love to hear from other Moms about their experiences during boot camp.  My son is an OS.

Thank you for answering my question. Do you know what week in A school he will receive his PCS orders? We can't wait to see where he goes next.

How soon do the sailors get their leave to come home after bootcamp? Do they get a leave after A school or do they report to their ship and then get the leave? My son PIR'd  last week and I was wondering what to expect. Thank you

My son is in bc right now and is worried that there will be a delay getting into his A school as an OS. I did ask on RTC fb site and they said it is only 9 weeks long but sometimes sailors are there longer due to the delay of school starting.

How long is A-school for OS? We had originally heard 12 weeks, but now I'm hearing that it might be only 9 weeks?
