Hello  just one month shy of my son's first year in the Navy. He has been at Offutt AFB near Omaha Nebraska since July. He's a Master at Arms. He watches planes on the runways and bunnies setting off the alarms on the fence! He won't be home for the holidays,he might be home later in January.   We should plan a get together after the holidays. Sounds like maybe north of Pittsburgh would be a good place to meet.

A get together sounds good.  My son finally left for San Antonio (A School) after being "on hold" for 2 months.  Hopefully, his classes will start this week.  He will be home for Christmas, unless something changes.  I am very grateful for that.
