hi all you familes that are looking for cars for your sailors tell them to go to the MWR and they have classes on how to buy a car in Pearl Habor or around that area.
I just got back from Pearl and they are alot of car dealers around that area.
be sure your sailor takes his ID card to the car dealer to get Military discounts.
and tell your sailors to take his or her ID card everywhere and use it to get Miltary discounts and it sure helps
also when they fly tell them to wear their uniforms they get on the planes easier
Welcome Redfly. I don't get on here often but it is good source. I was grateful to learn we can use the inbox/compose to send messages to each other out of the public eye. We want to keep our sailors safe by not giving too many specifics. My sailor moved in with some other sailors who share a house. It works out except it's too far from the base so he is looking for something closer. Peace Memorial Day!
he has a car but for the first 6 months he bought himself a bike but hated so he bought a car but i do not know the details i just know that he paid too much for it and he learned his lesson but it gets him around the island.
he still lives on base but I do not know how long he will stay on base.
but I do know that the apartments on the island are like $1,000.00 and up for like a one or two bedroom apartment

My son will be working harbor patrol. I am not ready to let him go. I really enjoyed having him home again. But I know he is so excited to be going to Hawaii.
