I've read that the 900 division is the performing division?!? I'm guessing maybe my son is playing drums as that is what he did in high school but I'm not sure! Any one else have a recruit in this group? Anyone received a letter or call yet? I've only gotten 'the box', 'the I'm here call', and 'the form letter' which didn't have any small note written in it :( ! Would love to hear from others and keep in touch so we can share everything we hear about what our kids are going through!

Nothing here in So. Oregon either. :( I am hoping it is because they are keeping our kids EXTRA busy! Since tomorrow is the 3rd Tuesday, maybe we will get telephone calls??? The last day (6/8) doesn't count - it is zero day! Woot Woot!

Yes i received it last wk

Hi Everyone,

I received the call and box with no note.... April 25th was my sons bday... It was so hard that day. Just realized it will be the 1st Mothers day w/o him.....

Roses4bud - just think though about where he is right now and where he will be on Mother's Day - an incredibly proud mom is going to know in her heart that her son is awesome for his willingness to serve in our military! <3

Nothing here yet... I'll definitely post here and on fb if/when I get something. This is gonna be a rough mothers day for sure! Not getting any easier yet either :(! And I don't know what is up with the countdown but it says 38 days and by my count it's 40?!?

Ok ladies this is the week 4 (1 processing and 3 training) So HOPEFULLY we will get some mail this week!!! Think positive. And post immediately if ya get some!!!!!!

Yes that is what we have to do. Think positive.

Makaha's Mom - Congrats!!  How exciting....

Ship02 Division 930 - I received the dreaded 'Mom, I got set back 2 weeks' call this afternoon.  I do not have any details except he was caught fraternizing with a female.  My heart goes out to any of you parents if your daughter was the one involved.  It is the hardest telephone call to make in their shoes.  I had to do it many years ago in BC as well - call my parents and say they couldn't see me PIR since I was set back (not for the same reason).  They still came! I will still go to see my son - no matter what date! He was able to say he has received mail from me and he has written. No letter in today's mail so I am keeping my fingers crossed that it is tomorrow.  I understand from someone else their daughter said Sunday 4/29 was the first opportunity to write for this Division.  I believe my son has learned a valuable lesson today and hope this makes him a stronger person for it.  At least I do not have to go through the 'kid in the box' and when will I get that first phone call like his new division Moms!  On the flip side, he will have to 'redo' the last two weeks with his new division - hope he doesn't find it boring - now that he knows what those two weeks entail!! Please keep posting how your kids are doing in this division - I am so proud of all of them and will follow you through so I know what to still expect in the weeks ahead. Keeping y'all in my thoughts! ~Lynn

Nick's Mom - So very sorry to hear your news...Hang in there!  It is some tough lessons all our kids are learning. It must have been really hard, cause we can't wait to get our call, but we don't want to get that kind of call. Stay strong for you and your son.

Thank-you kathyrc. :)
