I've read that the 900 division is the performing division?!? I'm guessing maybe my son is playing drums as that is what he did in high school but I'm not sure! Any one else have a recruit in this group? Anyone received a letter or call yet? I've only gotten 'the box', 'the I'm here call', and 'the form letter' which didn't have any small note written in it :( ! Would love to hear from others and keep in touch so we can share everything we hear about what our kids are going through!

We got a letter!! We got a letter!! Our daughter sounds so happy. She said that all the girls are really nice and this past Sunday was their first holiday routine. Apparently the Saturday morning workout is "super cool." So great to know things are going well.

Awesome!!  Great news...so happy she is doing well!

Yay!!!!!!

I got a letter today ? Does anyone know what AROC is ? Or what cutless is ? Thats what she said she was doing in the 900 division ?

They have changed the acronyms from when I was in (company commander is now RDC - recruit division chief). RCPO  is Recruit Chief Petty Officer so not sure what the AROC is now??? Cutless usually refers to sword.  I am thinking if she is carrying the sword she is also the RCPO or Assistant.  Flag bearers are referred to as 'guide-ons' and I cannot remember the person who yells out the 'left/right/left'! Way too long ago. LOL  Still no mail from Sunday's writing fest so hoping the mailman delivers tomorrow.

She said she was the lead person over the females . Does that make sense

Yay!!!!!

Paytonsmom- Yes! She is the RCPO and responsible for all of her division.  They mess up - she does the pushups! Congrats to her - they obviously see leadership qualities in her. :)

If you'd like please add me on fb...my name is melodie stahl!
I got a call tonight . She sounded great . Got to talk for 30 minutes . Makaha's mom I sent you a friend request . Your daughter told mine that we had talked .

Please look for Ship02 Division 930 on Facebook!
