My Dad, My son, Shawns Grandfather, and the Core of our Family,  was admitted to the hospital yesterday Dx. Pulmonary Embolism. (Blood Clot in each lung).

He was 6 hours away from home/family, he was working, when he got sick. His Racing Team tried to get him home to Ky. when he lost consciousness, so they took him to closest hospital, in Rockford, Il.

We don't and are not going to tell Shawn about this, until Friday, unless something else happens. I will tell him at his graduation.

Everyone please say a prayer for us, that I will be able to Tell my New Sailor good news about his Grandfather on Friday.

Janie, I am so very sorry to hear this news.  I hope for a swift and speedy recovery for your Dad. My thoughts and prayers are with all~

Don't know what to say, what a difficult time for your family.  You will know exactly what to say and when.  Take care,  I'll be thinking of you this week.  Hope all goes well.

Thank you all for the support. I hope you all had a great time with your sailors. It was a Wonderful day with my Son. My new Sailor. And I was able to give him good news, that his Grandfather was discharged from the Hospital the Day we Flew in for his graduation. He is recovering at home now, and getting Stronger everyday.

And Shawn is Off to his new Base for his A school, which I am hearing on the news is Flooded, and being evacuated. :(  Havent heard from him yet. And I'm Not sure he is even at his new base yet.  I also heard all flights are delayed going to that area. I hope everyones Sailors and family's had safe trips home and to their new bases.

Such good news about his Grandpa.  Something to treasure from the experience;  for all of you!

I have wondered about the flooding in the panhandle area as well - sounds serious enough.

take care      :)
