Just mailed out 4 letters to our SR! Finally received his address, PIR date, and division number!  October 7 can't come soon enough!! So proud of my stepson!
Finally got my son's address and PIR date 10/7 sending out a few letters!  It was nice to have even a few words from him to know that he is doing okay, but can't wait to see him!

Just got the form letter!!!  Yay!  Can't wait til Oct 7th!

I finally got my form today too.  I was starting to wear down from the wait but was happily surprised to have a personal note written from our son.

My son is on Ship 3 Division 335 - anyone else?  Just sent a long letter off to my SR today already writing another to send out on Monday.  October 7th can't get here soon enough!

I missed a phone call this a.m. from my SR and was so upset, but got his message and heard his voice!  The blessings are that 1. He just needed information like yours did 2. He wasn't injured or sick or anything 3. Now I have a voice message that I can play over and over!  Lol!  Then, he called back!!!!  I got to actually talk to him for a very brief moment, but let him know that I love him.  Sweet.

Congrats on your Petty Officer!!!  That's awesome!

See ya soon! Only 44 days!

My son is in the same group, I have sent 2 letters so far. I plan on sending some pictures tomorrow. I agree cannot wait for oct 7th. :)

My son-n-law is in this group.  My daughter, his wife, PIR's on 9/16.  I visited with his father yesterday, as he received the form letter.  He is doing good just tired.
Just starting to get this information out - We will be scheduling a meet and greet on Thursday October 6th for all the familes of the PIR group for 10/7.  Keep an eye out for the event invite.  I'm just waiting to get a little more information on a couple of things before I schedule it for sure and send invites, but wanted to let everyone know about it early.  It will be a great way for us to meet each other.  Hope to see everyone there!

That would be awesome KathyMmom!!    If ANYONE on here happens to know of an SR who might have 1 extra spot on their 4 guests.. please let me know! My stepson has his four guests filled, and we need one more!!  Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Can't wait to meet everyone and be able to celebrate our the success of our sailors!

KathyMmom-

Is the meet and greet usually at the Ramada?  I am making my room reservations soon and just wanted to know if there was a confirmation on the place yet?  Thanks so very much!  So excited!

That is where it is.
