Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

where is the Ramada located? in Great Lakes?
Waukegan. Like 4 miles away from RTC
thank you!
I will be arriving at the great lakes ns, they are on base and a whole lot cheaper. I'm getting so excited. if you find out where the meet and greet is please let me know.

Meet and Greet will be at the Ramada on 10/6 at 6pm.  I've been waiting a bit to make sure everyone found the group before scheduling on the forum.  :-)

ok will you have the address so I can make sure to be there. I would greatly appreciate it. This meet and greet is for the families? Do the SR's join us?

Yep!  Here is the link for the RSVP.  I will need to let them know about a week before we all head out to GL, so please RSVP when you can.  Thanks!

I'm trying to make reservations to go and was wondering if I should make them so we arrive early on 10/6 to attend the meet/greet?

My son is also in Ship 3 DIV 335.  I was so relieved to get his letter Saturday.  He sounded like he was doing well, and said he is liking it.  I talked to the recruiter today, he said to make sure to send lots of letters, it helps get them through.

My stepson is also Ship 3/ Division 335.  His younger brother and I are both anxiously awaiting a letter.  Today when my 7 year old checked the mail he was almost in tears because he thought for sure there would be a letter from his brother!!  Glad to hear you've gotten a letter.  Looking forward to October 7 that's for sure!!
So glad to hear you got a letter I can't wait to get a letter from my SR is on ship 03 div 335. I have to remember not to get my hopes up everyday for a letter or a phone call, but I figure eventually we will get something.
I didn't word that accurately. We haven't gotten one, my 7 year old is still anxiously awaiting a letter.  He is in tears everyday at the mailbox waiting for a letter!!  I'm hoping soon!!!!
