OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Dang it! Thought I was in first! :(

about 9 seconds late

I wish you had been!
Any phone calls by chance... Anyone?
Nope.
I think we will get our calls tomorrow!
Does everyone have their phones ready for this afternoon? I have been praying for our SR's and can't stop thinking of them.
I am waiting on pins and needles
I've been up since 5:30am and I usually sleep in when I have a day off. I just can't stand the chance of missing the phone. EEEEEEEEK!
I am ready to go to war against those whose SR's....excuse me SA's have already called them.
I had to run home from work at lunch and we had our last letter from our son.  He never said what he wanted me to bring him but he is so great.  He got our two extra people on other SR's in the Div list., now we can all sit together and no one will have to wait. As I was driving back to work my phone rang, I almost jump off the seat of my car......it was only my husband!  So I will sit here at work waiting.

Browns57,   If you still don't know what to take some things my daughter asked for were her phone, ipod, camera, laptop, sunglasses and some personal undies. hahahh  They have to phase up before they get to wear civilian clothing and by that time we can ship stuff to them. Really they just want there electronic stuff.   Maybe as a surprise his favorite candy or snack...just have that in the hotel room. I also had all of my daughters friends and family sign a card for her and I will  be taking that as well

I packed a couple pairs of civi clothes because Bill said he could have them, just not wear them. Lots of boxers. His ipod, cell phone, camera. I also threw in some of his hygiene stuff, so deodorant that smells good, etc. His spare pair of glasses so he won't wear his BCGs. Really it's the simple stuff they want. =)
