Yeah - got my form letter today and my SR was able to write me a short note on the back and sounds like he is doing well and can't wait to get through P-days and start actual training.  Looking forward to meeting other moms and supporters of SR's training with mine!

Carolee, I have signed up for the Meet and Greet.  Looks like it will be my husband, daugher, mother-in-law and myself.  I almost booked at the Residence Inn because that is where we usually stay when we travel, but I saw the Ramada Inn is where the Meet and Greet takes place.  I hoped that is where alot of families are staying.  I can't wait to meet you all and your boys........excuse me......men.  I've been told they will no longer be boys, but men.  Anyway, as we are talking to each other on this site, has anyone but me thought about the fact that our guys have been sharing pretty much every minute of every day together for the past 4 weeks.  We just think we have become friends through this site.  I have imagined our guys have come to know each other pretty well by now, and while we have become aquaintances, they probably feel they have become brothers and sisters.

Hi,

Look forward to meeting you also and all the other families.  I think you are right about our guys.  I'm sure there much be a pretty tight bond happening with them.  See you at the meet and greet.  Carolee

Yeah! So glad to see more 09/359's out there - I was starting to wonder. LOL! My SR is my oldest son and my Dad was in the Navy as I was growing up but he was Active Reserve so never really had to worry about him being out to sea. I have gotten two letter and a phone last Tuesday. He sounded really good and it was so great getting to talk to him. We will be at the Meet & Greet and I can't wait to meet you all there. And then we get to see our "men" the next day! Justinsmom - hopefully we can meet at PIR. Praying for passed tests, flags won and earned phone calls!!

Hi,

Aren't we blessed to have a site like this.  I love technology!!!!  Not long now and we will all see each other, at the meet and greet for at graduation and best of all see our Sailors.  Carolee

Hi Lala,

Do you have ribbons for 09/359?  I would be interested in getting 3.  How much are they?  Graduation is 10-28.

I do, I have ribbons for all the divisions. I hand make each one with the name you want on it and the DIV number. You get 4 for $30.00 and that includes USPS priority shipping with a tracking number. You can get less or more than 4 if you like. Just send me a friend request and I will send you all the info for placing an order as well as some helpful tips for PIR. Thanks
Good morning everyone!!  Did you get to talk to your SR on Saturday?  Darn it - I just realized it's 10:08 and I missed Trivia Tuesday on FB.  I set up a recurring event in my Outlook with reminders set 15 minutes prior to start time but I guess it's not working because I didn't get the reminder.  Hope you are all having a good day!

Good News!  You didn't miss trivia tuesday.  It has been postponed until tomorrow (Wed.) at 10:00 am and then wacky wed. at 12:00 noon.  Good luck!

YEAH!! I better fix those reminders then so I don't forget tomorrow!! GO 09/359 - let's win a pic of our guys!!
I know.  Wouldn't that be great if we could see our guys in a picture.
