Glad you got a call too, thanks for the flag info.  Glad the guys are so pumped over the facebook photo thing!
What is marlinspike?
As I understand it, it is a three day couse on basic seamanship skills.
Kholness.....we are glad you are a part of the 9/360 team!!!  Glad you received a call too.  It is so hard waiting for calls/letters........as I say ANY news is GOOD news!!  Have a great night.

So glad you got your call...and you can have the whole weekend with him if he stays at GL.  Mine is flying out, so we only get one day.  You are so lucky!  When he first enlisted, the corpsman school was at GL lakes but it moved this summer.

The guys are lucky to have such a good division, and we are all lucky to have each other to talk to.  Can't wait to meet each of you!

I got the coolest call today.  I was over spending time with his family and he tried me, my phone wasn't on me. Tried his home phone, we didn't answer, because we were outside cooking out.  Finally, he called his mom's cell and we were all there together.  His little sister, me, his mom, and dad.  I only got a few minutes, because we were passing the phone around, but how neat that we were all together.  His family sure was excited to hear from him since I got the last call all to myself. His birthday's actually tomorrow, what a great birthday present!!
Jamie Kaye........what a blessing that you were all together with your SRs family.  I hope he has an amazing birthday.  My SR will be 20 next Saturday, it is our first birthday apart, but I know the best present for these men will be PIR.  Glad you got to share the call with the family and most of all that you received a call.  Enjoy your night, sleep well!!
so happy for everyone's calls...i got one too :) for over 30 minutes...practically estatic. he said everyone passed their physical fitness test (i think that is what i heard) so congrats to all the guys, that they had won three flags and that he earned sharp shooter! he was so excited. he sounded so happy and so proud. he asked me to make sure i bring a coca cola to graduation in a bottle because he's going to need one. he loves his division and says they are all really close. they are starting to wrap things up and everything is starting to come together nicely. so happy, cloud nine!

Congratulations johnnasuzanne!  GREAT NEWS....wow 30 min!!!  Ours was only about 1/2 that long, but I agree estatic is the proper emotion!  So hope you heard right and that ALL of 9/360 passed their physical fitness test.  Congrats to you and your SR on the sharp shooter, I think I better make sure to not mess with your SR or Jacketfans' LOL!  So proud of this 9/360......can't wait to meet you all!!!

love the comment about Coke...mine told me he is craving Buffalo Bill's Wild Wings.  He didn't eat there much while he was here, but if he wants it, he will get it!
