@springfire I have been studying up on the contest and will try to make the times fit in my schedule to help @My SR's Ladybug some things to think about:  Sounds like your travel arrangments are a toss up with distance, time, and small children.  I suggest that you drive unless you know exactly when your recruit is leaving for A school.  You don't want to be stuck waiting on a plane for return flight home if your Sailor is a grad and go.
He is staying in GL for A school for 11 weeks and then to CT for 7 weeks.
In three weeks at this time, we will be at graduation, it kind of hit me today:.........

Good evening everyone, I wanted to let you know that all the ribbons for this DIV that have been paid for as of yesterday have all been shipped. I am still waiting on payments from several and as soon as those payments arrive I will ship your ribbons. There is still plenty of time to order and get them in time for PIR. If anyone else would like to order some ribbons to wear to PIR just click on my name and send me a friend request or send me a message to: uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com   I will be sending more ribbons early next week as I receive the payments. You can see more pics on my page here on N4M's or on my facebook page. The link for it is below, just click on photos on the left side to see the pics and then send me a message on Navy for Moms or email me to get ordering information here is a link to it: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Unique-Memory-Makers/204119052936924?...

Slowly geting things together. I just booked our flights last night. Getting ready to do the rental car and hotel tomorrow night. I can't for the next seventeen days to be over. I really want to see my boyfriend
Right there with ya!
Just finished the hotel and car rental....Now we are all set. Sixteen more days until we get to see our SR.
Watching livestream of the Navy Band, I'm all choked up and missing my Recruit!  Oh how those ladies and gentlemen can sing!!!
We got the worst phone call this morning.  Our son is in the hospital with a 103 degree temp and they are doing blood work to find out what is wrong with him.  As his mom I know this is the best place for him; however, he will probably be graduating a week late.  Please say prayers for our guys and gals as many of them have been struggling with flu, colds, etc over the last couple weeks!!!

treemanjlp,

My prayers are with you guys. I hope your son get better soon.

Oh dear...prayers headed your way. Please keep us posted.
