Have not posted before. My son is in this group and I finally got a letter today. They don't give them much time to write, only on Sunday.

  welcome angela,

yay!!!! me too
Not going to get greedy - but hope there will be a second letter this Sunday. : )
I got my first letter this past wednesday!! SOOOOO good to hear from him!!! :) You all should get on the facebook page for RTC (u.s. Navy recruit training command) "like" them and then we can maybe win a picture of our DIV on tuesdays and wednesdays!! no joke!! and they take pics of them randomly and pics of PIRs too....they also answer questions for us!

I am happy you got your first real letter and completely understand how good it is to hear from your loved, same feeling here.  It makes the unknown almost bearable. I am praying that every SR in 7/358 has the opportunity to write letters home this Sunday. :)

div 358 is calling'

my boyfriend called his mom last night too and she said that he sounded sick/ not like himself. :(
I am sending him a phone card so he can call you next time : )

I got the same type of call. I asked SR if this was a "good" call he said yes, (couldn't tell by his voice).  He said he has a cold. He also said they are going to be a "strong" division - I think that means they are doing a lot of push-ups etc.?   Hope you can take some comfort that your SR earned a call although it was too short. Hope the division earns longer calls.

One of the last things I learned before he had to quickly hang up was that many were having a hard time figuring out how to make a collect call wasting precious minutes or seconds of their time.   Hoping for a long letter for everyone in 7/358. Donna

got a letter from my boy  it was one paragraph but he is so motavated
Great news. I am happy for you.
