OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Here is the link to the BattleStations info, which is their final test,  Please click on this link for info:

http://www.navyformoms.com/group/pir562011/forum/topics/battlestati...

They will be going through with their brother divisions. Brother divisions for this group are:

321+322, 323+324, 325+326, 327+328

946

If you have any questions, please post here and not on the link page.  Also, on the link page, please be sure to click on Craig's link at the bottom of that page.  Very interesting info about BattleStations and RTC!

****Ladies, we are no longer allowed to post BattleStations schedules on here. But I would like to make sure that all have the dates for when your SRs will be going.  Therefore, please make sure that you go to SETTINGS up in the top right corner of this page under your screen name.  Then click on EMAIL.  Make sure that there is a "check" in front of "messages from one of my groups."  This will allow you to receive emails posted to the entire PIR group in your personal email box, not your N4Moms one.  That is the way the ladies will get out info when they get a date from their SR---and how I will send the schedule that I formulate from these dates.  Through the SRs is the only way we get BattleStations dates, although I know the general way they set them up.  The SR will know their BattleStations dates a couple of weeks before PIR.

when do you think we would get our "im a sailor" call? for div 321
Calls usually start around 2 pm Central time....and can go for a while since we think 4 divisions went last night.  So keep your cell handy at all times!  :-)
