Hello. My son is in SHIP 04 DIV 810  PIR 04/13/2012.  I just got approved today to become a member.  Have you heard anything from your boyfriend?  What job is he going to do after boot camp?

No, I have not personally heard anything. I know his parents got the form that they send with the address and a quick note and all i got out of that was a "hi" haha. but have you heard from your son? And my boyfriend is a rescue swimmer

We got the "box" and the form letter with a short note on the back.  His name is Parker.  He said there's alot of cool guys in his division and that he missed us.  I hope he gets to call and even more than that, I hope I'm free to answer the phone when he calls.

Hi, I recently joined Navy For Moms and I have been trying to contact someone whose sailor graduated with my son.  I tried to order a DVD from NEX and I just missed out.  Do you, or any of the other families you may be in contact with, have the DVD?  What has your sailor been doing since graduation?  My son is graduating from Diver Prep on Wednesday and is headed down to Panama City at the end of the week.

Hi everyone, my son is also with your loved ones.  He is contracted for rescue swimmer.  Let the journey begin!

Teddyandpameaves : Yeah I agree! I think if I can recall correctly, that they get a phone call the 2nd or 3rd week but I am not sure. I know I personally probably won't get a phone call until later down the line but Matt's family is great and they keep me updated with everything. I am so excited to hear from everybody and it makes me happy that there seems to be a good group  with them ;)

Hello to all ... My son's recruiter gave me this info sooo here I am. Still waiting on the Form letter, maybe tomorrow. He is contracted for EOD.

Hello! Our son is contracted as a rescue swimmer. His name is Taylor. We received his letter on Tuesday. pretty emotional. I am happy to have this site to go to and look forward to seeing you all at PIR.

My son is in ship 04 DIV 119  PIR 4/13/2012.
