I ordered my scarf today and some ribbons I just have to remember my PayPal info haven't used it in awhile. My son left on the 16th. I was really nervous about him flying also it was his first time and he had to do it by himself! But he did I fine! Yes I can't wait for that one letter too but as we have read in other posts that would be the bad letter where they are miserable, but I hope not. I am trying to make some plans I am waiting on his girlfriend to see if she is going, do you know the rates for the Ramada? I've just checked at Comfort Inn so far. but I do plan on flying out hopefully early morning Thursday and leaving Saturday. And I look forward to meeting you also.

The Ramada has different options for pricing and they give a graduation rate - I got the Concierge Room because I wanted to make sure that I had a refrigerator / microwave so it was $79 a night. I also chose the Ramada because one of the Meet & Greet is being held there and the have a shuttle to the base for PIR.

I am also driving to Chicago - I rented a car and I am leaving on Wednesday from Texas and driving home on Sunday.  I decided it would be cheaper than flying!

Omg your driving fromTexas? Well that's the same rate I got from comfort inn I guess maybe their all about the same for the PIR. I'm looking at about $330 from San Antonio but then the cost to get to great lakes and back to the airport that is costly. And I did receive a letter today yyyaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!! Finally he just wrote it Sunday so it was kind of bad and kind of good!!! But I was just so excited to receive it I just keep reading it over and over and his girlfriend told me she received several letters, I was driving home from work thinking I better get at least one letter and I did get that!

Yes, I am driving - my sister is going with me but it is easier than flying!

I am so glad to hear that you received a letter...my daughter has not written!  Maybe soon!
