Hello, I am Joanne Matt's Mom. My son is also in SHIP 04 DIV 120. We should all wear names tags on graduation so we could all finally meet each other!!!!!!!!!!!!

Joanne

that is a great Idea. I am so excited to meet everyone.

Hi, how are you?  Where is your son going to A Schhol. What Job does he have?

Joanne I am great now that I have heard from Joe. He is going to San Antonio for A school. He is going to be a HM. How about your Matt Where is he going and what is his job? It is to bad that we don't have any other family members here on our thread. Can't wait to meet you, Blessings Kathy

Oh my goodness Matt's job is also HM and going to San Antonio, I am so excited they will be together. How did you hear from your son did he call you??? and when ?????? Please let me know we only heard from Matt the night he arrived and 2 lines he wrote on the back of the form letter.

I didnt realise they got to call home or I would have sent it with him. I am going to write today to see if maybe he knows yor son. I hope so then we can share info. Bessings,  Kathy

Hi Joanne,

My boyfriend is also SHIP 04 DIV 120. :) Do you know how long there liberty will be for? I am a little confused.. I dont know how long I should book my room for. Will they have the weekend with family or just the friday they graduate? If you know anything please let me know. I am still waiting for my letter from him... Thanks!

                    Claudia

Claudia it all depends where his A school is.  If he stays at Great Lakes he will most likely have the weekend to spend with family. Those that shipout can leave as early as the next morning. I have heard one person say their son shipped out at 1:30 am on Sat. Regardless I wouldnt miss it for the world. I am a very PROUD momma

When you say weekend do you mean until sunday or monday? Thanks!

Sunday

So is it safe to schedule a return flight on sunday if they r leaving to a different state for A school?

Yes he will most likely leave Saturday. We have room till Sunday and plan to go set at Airport wilth him. We figure that is a extra couple hours atleast. The airlines will give you passes to go to the gate.
