Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 907 and 908

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

How about your SR (seaman recruit) ?
Our first Sailor also did CT school at P'Cola. We loved it on the Gulf Coast. I think we may have conversed on Facebook.

Hi,

My son is also on Ship 02   DIV 908. He's MA and going to San Antonio after this. I miss my son!!

My son is also ship 2 Div. 908....  I miss my son too....

Nice to meet you too. I talked to him and he's doing great. He has his first inspection test today and another test on Wed. He passed everything so far, swimmimg, physical, he said something else but I couldn't understand him he was talking so fast. It's so funny how you don't realize how things can weigh on you, well after hearing his voice and knowing he's doing so well, and he sounded great, I actually felt hungry for the first time not even realizing it. I ate pot roast, roasted potatoes, salad, ice cream, chips, and a Margarita on the rocks with salt all at the same time!!! I was on cloud nine. I was so happy you would have thought I got a call from George Clooney. Here I thought I was handling this like a pro, but my goodness. How is your son doing?

Hi lifeisanadventure, my daughter is in another ship and division and she's MA in San Antonio as well.  Nice to meet you!

.

Hi Lulu,

From what I hear, he will be leaving the next day after PIR. But I am sure things can change. I am going to try to go see him there if I can.  A friend of mine just came back from San Antonio and he loved it. What ship and div is your daughter on? He is so looking forward to A school, and he sounds so happy. He's been wanting to do this for so long and to see him living the beginning of his dream is my dream come true. I am sure all of us feel this and it's wonderful.

Hi All - my daughter is in Div 907. She will be going on to A school in San Antonio TX.

Ella we are trying to put a 907 list together so when our son calls we can ask who he knows. Did we speak on Facebook? If not could you send a private message here with last name. I'll do the same.

EllaMom is she going to be a corpsman?
