Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 907 and 908

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hi everyone,

My son is Ship 02 DIV 908. Received my letter on the 15th. Waiting for a call and/or letter from him soon. He's MA and going to San Antonio for A school.

One little tid bit I want to share. When I took the garbage out last week, instead of the large can with 3 kitchen bags full, it was one little plastic bag!! It looked so sad. Now that goes to show you how much a 6'3" 18 year old can eat!!

Hi lifeisanadventure - My daughter is in 907 and will be going to San Antonio for MA school too.

 Hi,

Does anyone know why the PIR for 1/3/14 is stating unconfirmed? My son is Ship 02   Div 908

PIR: 01/03/2014        TG 08 - 10 Divisions (043-050, 907 & 908) unconfirmed

Hello Lifeisanadventure.  did you get any response on this.  I was wondering the same thing.  Thanks

Hi tigermom, not yet. When I hear from him I will ask him what it means and to write back to me the answer. My goodness, it seems like we are back to the donkey days of mail!

Hello,  - Where are you seeing the (unconfirmed) statement?

Could be related to the fact that this PIR and Training Group have not yet been posted on the official RTC website yet?

Lisa and John, what do you mean the official RTC website? The one on FB? I already joined so I will keep looking.

yay!  I can't wait for my first call.

You must be so happy!! My son is also on SHIP 02 DIV 908.

VERY Happy to hear that you got a call :)  Did your Recruit happen to talk about how things are going?

Hello ~ My 20 year old Son is in Division 907. He entered Boot Camp as an E2 - RP (Religious Program Specialist) on November 5th. We are in Chicago, about 45 minutes from Great Lakes!

My son is also going to South Carolina AFTER PIR. He is an RP and will be in Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
