Another phone call yesterday! So nice to hear his voice. Can't wait to see him!

I know several of you have ordered ribbons from me to wear to PIR. All of those orders have now been shipped. Please let me know what you think of them when they arrive. I am sure you will love them :-D With the holidays here the shipping seems to be taking an extra day or two depending on how far you are from me but hopefully you will all have them by this Friday or Tuesday at the latest. The mail doesn't run on Monday so letters from your SR's will probably be delayed next week as well. If anyone else would like to order the ribbons to wear to PIR to support your Sailor just send me a friend request on this site or send me an email to uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com and I will send you all the ribbon info as well as some helpful tips for PIR. I hope you all have a great day.

Thanks so much!  I can't wait for mine to arrive.  One is being sent to my sons great grandma in South Carolina.  At 95, she is unable to make the trip to PIR, but is so proud of her great grandson, her late husband was a sailor.  I hope to get a letter this week; he has managed to write over a dozen, but only 2 to me. I was really hoping for a phone call, but no luck. He gots his marksman ribbon, I am so proud!  I guess all those hours on xbox 360 paid off!  Counting the days until Jan. 6!

That is so sweet that you are sending one to her. That is an honor, thanks so much. You won't have much longer now and I bet it will pass quickly. I hope you get an awesome call very soon, please let me know when your order arrives.

I got my ribbons and scrapbooking items. they all look great! I will be wearing them proudly. Thanks again!

You are very welcome. I am so glad you love them. You have my info, just let me know if you ever need anything else. And don't forget I can do pretty much anything you can think of with the scrapbook stuff and window decals. I just designed a new window decal :-) It is so cute. It was hard to get a pic of it without a glare but here is what I have. It has Navy colored letters and a yellow/gold background.

Thank you for the great stuff you do for the families of the recruits. I will wear my ribbon proudly to my sons PIR NEXT FRIDAY!!!! Can't believe how time flies! I got to see pics of him from the organization that adopted them for Christmas and he looks great! Sniff, sniff, tears....

Has anyone heard from recruits in 907 division? I got a call Christmas day but haven't heard anything since. Wondering about bs. Can't wait for Friday!

My son called Sat. and talked for about an hour. He said they had earned "Facebook" time and would be able to use the computers later on Sat. night. Since I had talked to him I didn't bother him on Facebook when he was on, but noticed that he had posted. He said to be expecting a phone call around 2 on Wed.

Yes, She called on Sat too... They we getting some free time but while on the phone with her grandmother they were called to go! She was back on FB later in the day though for a little while. Can not wait for our call tomorrow....so excited! See you Friday :)

I have found great info and have read beautiful comments that I can relate to on this site. I want to thank all of you for your helpful posts. Thursday we leave to Great Lakes to watch our wonderful son as he participates in his PIR on Friday. We could not be prouder. Good luck to all of you and have a safe trip!
