I got my sons letters n Saturday it was so great to hear from him, I just cried and cried.  So excited to go see him soon...Hope everyone is doing well and gets there letters and phone calls soon...Bryanna is my son's girlfriend on here.  She is a sweetheart..

Hello everyone!  My son is also Ship 07 / Div 036.  Crossing my fingers he stays on track and graduates with the group.  He's a nice kid and does what he's told, so I don't see any issues unless something unforeseen happens.  Can't wait for his letters to start coming, and to see him at PIR!

My son also is in the Nuke program. But he was hoping to change it.  If he can't, then it's his backup plan if he doesn't make it through A School.

He had a friend who went in over the summer (also Nuke) but didn't make it through A school.  He has since been reclassified.  If that happens to Nick, then he has an idea of what he wants to do next.  Crossing my fingers all goes well.

my boyfriend is also a nuke. so glad he's with more nukes, as a friend from high school just graduated and said that the nukes got a lot of crap from the rdc's. it's nice to know he isn't the only one!

can't wait til we can hear from our boys! january will be here before we know it!! :)

Just got my boyfriend's letter Thursday and finally found out his graduation date 1/06/12. I'm excited to see him

Well I'm new to all this so I'm not sure I know what a nuke is. Haha.

it's their job once they get out of boot and schooling. did he tell you what his job was going to be?

Ohhh haha I feel dumb. He said he'll be on the sub. I keep forgetting what exactly he will be doing

i'm guessing a nuke, then. be proud! it's quite an honor!! :)

Hey this is Zack's mom and he is gonna be doing the sonar on the sub.  He will be attending A-school in Conneticut when he graduates...

i got a letter!!!!!!!! ahhh, it feels so good to hear from him. from what i can gather, the first 2 weeks were terrible for him. he smokes, so i guess his shipmates told him he was going through withdrawls. poor guy. actually, i feel worse for your children having to deal with him during that time! lol.

i just wanna hug it and take it everywhere with me. :)

i hope you all get letters/calls soon! HUGS! <3

his mom and i are both hoping he can quit for good. i know how big the temptation will be, though, when he gets all of his freedoms back.

happy thanksgiving, all! enjoy your day with your family! :)
