OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

RodWifey, thanks for the reminder. I need to make sure I have batteries for my flash and the camera battery is fully recharged. I also need to make sure I have lots of change for the toll road.

I hope that maybe 907 is last in line to call. I'm sure they will call soon. I'm sending vibes for calls!

As the calls come in, I will post them on the discussion board. If you remember, ask if the whole division passed.
I look forward to all the posts. I'm in the last BS group, so I am looking forward to hearing all ya'lls posts!

I leave to go eat, and I had to go back a lot to catch up! I'm so excited, nervous and proud for all going through BS tonight. I would love to stay for the party, but tomorrow is my first day back with students. I need ALL the rest I can get in order to keep up with them, mainly my runner!
My prayers go out to all doing BS tonight.

Cindy, I think I will have to sit closer. My camera will not do well with the lighting against the wall. I guess that's the price I will have to pay for the "perfect" picture.
