Debra, I understand how you fell. Although my sailor won't be able to attend the PIR, he will meet us after his class. Then we can hang out and I will have all three of my kids for the weekend! It might be the last for a long time, so I plane to savor every minute!

Well, ladies, we have almost made it to the end! My Sailor goes back to GL tomorrow. This has been a nice two weeks, but I'm also thrilled that in less than a week, I get to see them both on Friday.
Now to start packing.
Check list: Ticket-check, Hotel-check, rental car-check dog to vet on Wed-check Christmas presents for new sailor-check I left my form letter on my desk at school, so I can't print out pass until Monday. Winter clothes-check Red Ribbon for purse(Backpack)-check.
I think I am ready. Now for Thurs. I can hardly wait!

Sue, my sailor told me that the Sear's Tower is free for Military. He went there not to long ago and enjoyed it. I'm going to take both of them there on Sat. From what I hear, you can get information at the NEX for weekend ideas.
One thing that I'm sure ALL would enjoy, a PRIVATE shower! They all have to take them together.

Cindy, I wish he could be a seal, but CS is Culinary Specialist! So, the way I see it, if my CS gets you sick, my corpsman will get you well! lol
Happy 2010 to all my N4M friends!

Cindy, I have read some of her posts! She is a wonderful source of information! I think her son has graduated already.

Cindy, that is a long time! And I thought Corp school was long. After A school, Laurence has to go to FMTB in N.C. and then will be stationed in the Navy Hospital in New Orleans.
My son in Basic now is going on as a CS, and his A school is about six weeks and then off to sea!
I am so glad they did away with the Grad and Go! I could not imagine going up to GL and not getting to spend much time.

Cindy, is this his first leave? It is for my son. He left in Aug. He is still in GL and will be there until the end of Feb. for A school.
