I'm wondering if no one went in last night since today is New Year's Eve. I know that my son said in his last letter that Christmas Eve was a "hold" day, meaning that it they are on "holiday" schedule. Maybe that's why so many went in the other night. Just wondering.

OK, for real, I'm gone this time. I just can't seem to pull my self away from this site!
I'm starting to smell funny. My dog just left! So, I'm off to go down the street.
Sandra, I promise to smell fresh for the M&G!!! lol

Navy Moms do have a unique bond! My sister's son is in the Army, and she said that there is nothing for her. I told her that her son joined the wrong branch of the military!

Well, ladies, I might have to call it a night. I have a busted hot water heater, and my friend down the street just said I can shower down there! YEA! I get a hot shower! My new one is in my hallway waiting to be installed.

Carolyn, I was the same way last time. I knew when I got on the plane to fly to GL, my son was still in BS. I drove to the hotel, still not knowing. I did get the call. I was at the hotel getting ready for the M&G. I asked him tonight what happens if you are in the last group and don't pass. He said you get pushed back a week. I'm doing the same thing for this one. I will be on the plane when he finishes.

Janis, you are allowed to be on it tonight, but only tonight. Just imagine how it sucks for him! All his shipmates getting to call home, but he was the "lucky" one on watch. I have no idea when they will get a chance to call again.

Donna, my mother was in treatment several times. What works are the programs that make sure the system is substance free, and get to the root of the addiction. I'll keep you and your son in my prayers.

Janis, my son said that he's sure that Adam had watch, which sucks for him as well as for you. He will call. ((((HUGS))))

Carolyn, I'll party regardless of how much studying I have to do. I'll worry about it tomorrow! I'm going to help celebrate with all the new sailors!
Remember, ours go in together!
