Well, tonight is a big night. Our first group goes into BS!!
Speaking from past experience, the "I'm a sailor" calls don't start until 4PM after BS is over. I know that once they finish, they start to practice for PIR.

I can not speak for all A schools, but at GL, they do not have internet in the rooms. They have to go somewhere like the USO office for WiFi. You might have to take the laptops home with you when you leave, but I know they will enjoy them while you are there!

I'm missing the day that division 802 does battle stations. Does anyone know when they do BS? Let me know. It is the only division missing on the list.
Also, if I put a day wrong, please let me know so I can make the correction.

The Meet and Greet is FUN! If you are not staying, the non spirited drinks are $2.50 each.
2 more days and we will be in the single digits on our count down!

Who would have thought that one piece of paper could make us all happy campers!

I guess when you are in a large dysfunctional school district, they get them earlier.lol
That works to get a state ID. It will come in handy.

It might take longer for him to get his address, but maybe by a day.
I have one in corpsman A school and my recruit now is going to CS A school also in GL. I think they are looking forward to being able to spend some time together before they each leaves.

This time, I will have both sons in A school in GL. I think I will leave everything with him. That way I can save some money.

Shelly, where is your recruit going to A school?
Comment by Margaret_ProudTexasMomof2Sailors on December 28, 2009 at 1:16pm
What motivated my son to call with his address, was I had his cell phone! He got a new one the weekend of PIR, so he wanted it! lol
