A woman walked into the kitchen to find her husband stalking around with a fly swatter.
'What are you doing?' She asked.
'Hunting Flies' He responded.
'Oh! Killing any?' She asked.
'Yep,
3 males, 2 Females,' he replied.
Intrigued, she asked. 'How can you tell them apart?'
He responded,
'3 were on a beer can,
2 were on the phone.

Charlotte, phase II is where they can leave base while on liberty during A school. Also, some can wear civies while on liberty.

Dan's dad, I asked Laurence about the barracks on corps side. Even though the mailing address does not have a name, the barracks are the USS Iow Jima. (or so I was told)

Rod Proud Sailor Wife, I like your new picture!
I'm glad he is more focused on housing than civies! lol

Donna, that is good advice. I have joined a support group for both my son's A schools. The moms there have some really good words of wisdom. I also have found some of the moms from my first son's PIR are also in the same A school group! I love to meet up with moms on other groups!

Carrie, that's a good idea. We should light our blue candles for all those going to Haiti, as well as our prayers. I am going through all my groups to see if any moms have posted about a sailor being deployed there.

tenkat99, I miss going places and seeing you!
How are things going after BC? Richard has yet to call me! He did call his brother.

Congrates to all who received calls. I feel like I'm back in BC. Everyone getting calls. I guess Richard is on watch and can't call his mom. He will call his brother first. He's the one holding his laptop and cell phone. I know he moved over to the main side in GL today, so I guess I just need to wait.

Apparently there are 3 Performing Divisions. Division 909 is not the band...our guys are the guys that do the things like the Body Snatchers. According to my son, some could even be in the back serving the Admiral as well as other service and performing duties. As far as my son, there is a bell across the floor from the bleachers that I spotted in one person's picture and I think that's the bell that he would be standing next to. If you happen to download the video of the body snatchers, please let me know. I know some of the Mom's in our Group that would LOVE to catch a glimple of their son's in action!!!!

We've only got 9 days and are soooo excited!!!

Thanks!
