Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 051 and 052

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Thank you for sharing the battlestations info! My tablet just showed your post about the bus/snow, but it did not give me any more space to reply to it...just message! I am SO glad they made it back in time! Such a great story!

Hi all! I have been glued to this site for two days! I'm so nervous for the next two weeks!! Seeing your posts has given me comfort. My son is in division 052. To read that there are others that have been sick, homesick and afraid of failing and disappointing shows that is very common and is such a relief! I've gotten three calls and 1 letter, all very stressed and emotional (except Christmas Day, he seemed a little better). I miss him so much!! Can't wait to see him at PIR, I just pray he can get through these next two weeks. He will be leaving for A school right away but I just want to see him and hug him and know he is ok!

aznavymom, I understand completely! My son's letters have been more upbeat, but the 3 phone calls we received have all been stressed and emotional! We are so glad that he (all of them) have less than 2 weeks left! I will breathe a HUGE sigh of relief for them at graduation! I know they have to be exhausted! Our son will be leaving for A-school right away as well, but I can't wait to see him and hug him also!

Thank you for your reply! I was able to see some pictures of my son at Christmas last night... that was a huge comfort. All of the SRs and families are in my prayers this week! Stay strong!

Hey Ladies,

I've been trying to reach Lala, to order ribbons for the PIR. I realize that she lost her mom recently, and I don't want to be a pain. If anyone has contact with her could you let me know if she's still available to make the ribbons...if she can't I totally understand.

Thanks so much

She just posted on the main discussion board earlier today. I think she also has a Facebook page, but I have not been on that. I am assuming you tried to PM her....maybe she will be looking at it more now that she posted again on the main page. Hope you get in touch with her and can order what you are looking for. There are a couple other sellers listed on the right (cafepress, zazzle) that may also be able to help. The commemorative coins are available on www.pirgifts.com. I did non see if they have ribbons there too, but they might.

I am so sorry you had such a hard time finding me. I replied to your friend request and my cell number is in that message. Please let me know if you have any questions at all :)

Got a letter today.  I guess they got in trouble on  Saturday because two guys were arguing with the RDCS.  They weren't allowed to sit or talk on Sunday.  I hope they keep positive spirits up.

I appreciate you sharing that. I wish it were better news, but hopefully things went better this week. Hope all these guys/gals can dig deep and hang tight one more week!

My letter today gave a run down of this weeks schedule. Some things have already happened, but you may be interested in knowing what they have been up to. Sounds like it is going to be another rough week. The fact that they got in trouble may explain why my SR asked that we pray for him and his fellow shipmates to "come together and get it done".

If you are interested in knowing the schedule, PM me....I don't think I can put it on the public board.

Just wanted to let you know that my son made it home safe! He got in around 12:30 a.m! His dad and him planned to surprise me so he knew a week ago that he was coming home but told me he would not be here until Friday. So he came into my room and woke me and surprised me! Good thing I had the welcome sign up in case he came home early on Friday. Again I want to thank all of you for your support and kind words, not sure how I would have handled all of this without your guidance.. God Bless and take care. I wish you and your soon to be sailors the best!

That is wonderful news!  So happy he made it home and surprised you!  What a treat!  :)   Thank you for sharing that with us!  We are thrilled he is finally home!  We pray for all of you to experience a wonderful new beginning in this New Year!
