For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 053 and 054
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Erica, I also got my first letter yesterday. Very good to hear from him.I've been so worried since his last call from Sat 11/23, since he seemed so tired and a bit emotional at times. But his letter was a bit more upbeat, and my focus is just being as encouraging as possible. I'm sad that I don't see any way I can get there to adopt him out for xmas, and really hope another group or family will.

Yes I was feeling the same way, especially because when I spoke to him he was so sick! His letter made me feel a lot better . I too won't be able to make it for Christmas and it just breaks my heart :( I really do hope he gets to enjoy himself even if it's not me or his parents. At least we will be there on the 10th of January. Keep your phone close I'm very confident we will be receiving a call today :)

My daughter is also in this ship and div. I received a call today and she was still emotional. Did you receive a call from your daughter. May God bless them and give them strength.

No call yet but I got a letter! Her name is Cierra. Glad to finally meet another in her division & ship.

I have a daughter in ship 14 div 054, Her name is Julia. No call as of this evening... No letter since Dec 6th. It was written on Nov. 25. Hopefully soon. I sent in my letter for Adopt A Sailor today..

Our SR is same ship and division. No call since right after Thanksgiving and only one letter so far. Gosh, what a rollercoaster of emotions this is, last week I was fine, now I'm not, just need to hear from him. Hopefully it will be 'our' turn this weekend :) Won't be going for Christmas, we live in CA, when we last spoke, he didn't seem too concerned about staying there.

I just found this site, but my daughter in is this ship and division as well. Her name is Caitlyn. She turns 21 on the 5th, and last I heard battle stations for her was right after that, the 6th and 7th. At least that is what she said when I talked to her in early December. Her grandmother was able to adopt her and her bunk-mate out for Christmas. We talked then, but she didn't say anything more about battle stations..... Either way, she has an interesting story to tell about how she spent her 21st birthday!
I pray for them each day to have the strength and confidence to do well.

I got a call also it was a bit sort and he was sick but I will be adopting my sailor out for Christmas (:
He is so excited and I know I might sound crazy but ive read it about 7xs lol! IDK if your SRs mentioned anything but he told me not to print anything out because they aren't allowed to have print outs or newspaper clippings :(
Just a heads up (: 3 weeks and we will get to see our SR even if its for only a couple of hours!
