We got a 3 sentence note yesterday with a blue paper (see posting on main group) and that's all we've heard lately.  I'm thinking that they are really busy with Hell week and and hoping they are doing fairly well since the RDCs relented and gave him a blue paper after all.  One of the 3 sentences said "our RDCs do love us."  I don't know whether that 's irony or evidence of brainwashing.

I know several of you have ordered ribbons from me to wear to PIR. All of those orders have now been shipped. Please let me know what you think of them when they arrive. I am sure you will love them :-D With the holidays here the shipping seems to be taking an extra day or two depending on how far you are from me but hopefully you will all have them by this Friday or Tuesday at the latest. The mail doesn't run on Monday so letters from your SR's will probably be delayed next week as well. If anyone else would like to order the ribbons to wear to PIR to support your Sailor just send me a friend request on this site or send me an email to uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com and I will send you all the ribbon info as well as some helpful tips for PIR. You have more time to place your order if you want to wait until after Christmas :-) I hope you all have a great day.

What do you mean by PIR ribbon? I might would like to order one :)

They are ribbons like the ones in my profile picture and they are to wear to PIR to show support for your Sailor. They also are a great way to find and recognize other families from the same division and they make a great keepsake. You can see more pic on my page here on N4M's or on my facebook page Unique Memory Makers. You can send me a friend request on this site or an email message to me at uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com. Here is what one looks like and you can get them with gold or silver letters and they have a pin on the back.

very pretty, how much are they to order?

They are $6.50 each, plus shipping, about the size of your hand so you can see them good. I give a discount if you get four or more they are $6.00 each. You can get 4 with Priority shipping for $30.00. Thanks, Lora

Oh, well thanks for all the information, and the ribbons are pretty but I don't think I'll order one. $12 is a bit steep for a ribbon to me. Thanks for doing it though :)

Got a letter today!!  Hell week is over, he's still alive and he says they flagged everything.  Go Division 908!

Natalie, aside from the one sentence about Hell week almost the entire rest of the letter was a food fantasy wish list!  He wants Mountain Dew, and pizza, and cookies....  The list went on!  All these guys are going to come back from their Christmas outings will belly aches if they're not careful!

Well, I didn't get a letter, but his sister and his girlfriend did, he's doing well. Life is good. Thanks to all of you for letting me know your updates. Makes the waiting easier!!

Scott was given a family emergency phone call home today. He said they will be able to make calls not only on Sunday but also Saturday the 24th too! I usually get letters on Thursday, so I'll post up any new information! :)

3 weeks from today!!! Can't wait!!!!
