Sounds like this is where I belong :)  Yay!!!

Here! Lol
Got my "note" and info package yesterday...my son is ship 09 Div 041....
Counting down to 1-13-12

Has anyone heard from their SR?  Any letters or phone calls? Not here...hoping to get a letter this week.

this is my sons division as well :]

I got a letter from my SR today :) :) :)  He sounds very upbeat!  Puts my mind at ease :)

I received a letter from my SR as well!!!!  It was very positive, except he said P-days were the worst days of his life.  Glad they got to write on Thanksgiving!  Completed the Adopted a Sailor form and emailed it this evening.  How far away are you from RTC?  We are only 4 hours.

I'm a little over 6 hours away.  I'll wait to send my form back until I know for sure whether or not his friend will be joining us :)  Congrats on your letter!

My son would like us to come on Christmas, but said he would be okay if we couldn't.  Of course we will go!!  He also said his friend Wilson (not sure if that's a first or last name) would like to come with if his family is unable to take him :)

My son ship ship 09/ div 041.. I received a letter end of last week.. He said the first few days were YUCK.. no sleep for 40+ hours.. I just can't wait until he can call home..

ok.. here is what some us have begun doing on facebook.... Exchange your sons  or daughters names with others in the RTC forum. (or here). example.. you send my son mail, and i send your recruit mail... It should make them giggle a little, wondering what the heck their parents are doing... and also unite them more as a TEAM and a UNIT...   email me at alcindy2009@yahoo.com if you would like to get on the fun mail train..I prefer facebook, since i sometimes forget to check my email daily.

Sounds like maybe phone calls are moving along!  Hope to get one soon.  I'm also hoping for a letter in my mailbox today...
