Annm - That is so cool about the extreme makeover. There was one done a few miles from my house and it was so cool to see the whole city come together. We went to watch some of the building of the home and that was cool. My other two sons go to a Catholic highschool and they did a fundraiser and had volunteers and they did an extreme makeover "Irish style" for the family that was runner up. It certainly was not to the same extent but it was so cool to see high school kids come together and do that.

Congrats on the sailor call! I wouldn't think that it would be a problem for her to get in. I wonder if you could ask the RDC if he gets on this site?

Rustymom - my son told me that his RDC told him that if your name was not on the list that you should still be able to get in. He said that everyone that has a pass is let in first and then anyone who is not on the list will be let in after that until the place is full. And he was told that the place is never full so it should not be a problem. I wonder if when he calls with the I'm a Sailor call if you can ask him to look into it on his end?

Good luck to all the "soon to be sailors" at BS tonight. I pray all of you will get your I'm a Sailor call early tomorrow. My blue candle is lite for all the recruits and familes.

Sue - again thanks for all that you have done! To not even have a recruit and do all that you do for us you are amazing! I would have been lost without this group.
Now can we all get back to a positive attitude and focus on our soon to be sailors! I am so excited for PIR and pray that everyone does well at BS. My blue candle will be lite all week:)

Cindy you are so wright!!!This days, who doesn't have budget problems...?I'm retired already, thanks to God,and that means I might be collecting have my pay or less (once a month)but I want to be there for my son...I was planning to bring a white handkerchief and move it in the air,one side to the other, for me that means, peace, that my heart goes out for my son and the others around him.I'll be using black jeans, because they are heavy for the cold and my bones are no good, turlte neck sweater, coat,of course...All I want is to be there for my son with his brother,he wrote that in a few letters:that he wants to see us in PIR,so with God's help will be.
No heart feelings at all from my part!!You are worrying about the best picture for PIR,I thank you for that.
