OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Caitlin - do you have a JcPenny near by? I just came from there and they have huge clearance sales going on. You can get a suit for $13! There were lots of stores in the mail that had huge sales.
As for cheering at the PIR - I was so POed at my sons highschool graduation when there was so much cheering going on that you could not even hear anything! That is disrespectful! I deserve to hear my sons name just as much as you deserve to hear yours. Believe me I want to show my pride just as much as you but that will be done after the ceremony. Thats my two cents.
