OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Follow this link for OPSEC Guidelines:

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Specific information on this policy change will be provided in the coming days and weeks.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your support.

RTC Graduation

**UPDATE 3/07/2022**

Mask Mandate has been lifted but you are still required to be vaccinated.

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 063 and 064

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hi Everyone! ( Upstate NY mom here.) How about you?

My son in DIV 64, He is 21 and going Nuke ( Charleston) after BC. We are staying at the Marriot Res Inn for PIR and going to Sarge's meet and greet. Anyone else?

Hi!  Ohio mom here!

My daughter is in Div 063.  She's 26 and going to be a builder (Mississippi) after BC.  My sister and I are staying at the Springhill Suites (Marriot).  We are driving for PIR from Ohio - the plan is to go to Sarge's meet and greet . . . weather and traffic permitting.

Yes, I know about the weather. Have to drive thru buffalo and lake Erie snow belt. We might leave early and stop to see family in Cleveland.

Hi everyone,

My son is in DIV 63,  We will be driving, weather permitting from Arkansas :)

I got a letter from my son that says he may only get 3 guests? ( He didn't sound too sure). Anyone hear that also?

Not true, Jermom.  With only 7 divisions in this PIR group, they are allowed the 4 guests.  They have to have at least 13 divisions in order to be limited to 3 guests--- so no issues!

My son is in div 061 we will be going to PIR and meet and greet staying believe we will be staying on base motel

Apples&oranges.  You are posting in the wrong group!  This is the 063/064 group.  Of course, you are welcome to post in any group you want to, but you may want to join the 061/062 group so you can meet other ladies who have SRs with yours!

Anyone get any phones calls since last week from 03/064?
Does anyone know if the Navy Lodge has a viewing of the graduation....i realize a link is provided but i was curious for friends/family not able to attend?

My understanding is that they do show it, in a common place, but I could be wrong. I just remember reading that in a post somewhere..

My daughter is Div 064.  We're from Jacksonville, FL and driving to Great Lakes and will be at the Meet & Greet on Thursday night.
