OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE - 2020**

Due to COVID there is no public PIR. The graduations are on Thursday, and the video of the graduation is posted on RTC's FaceBook on Friday at approx 3pm. Please keep in mind that a division may need to complete additional quarantine during training which will delay their graduation.

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 065 and 066

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

So exciting! I love to see more info about our soon to be Sailors!

I keep praying they're all feeling better now!

Are their a bunch of sick ones?  With what?

My husband said most of his division is sick with a cold. He had a fever and a cough. He said one guy started it and then they all got sick. Poor guy.

My son is in division 066.  I am excited to meet you guys.  I am in Tx.

I'm in TX also!! In the DFW area.  My son sounded healthy when he called on Saturday. I have heard that some of the divisions have bad colds going through.

I am in Dfw too. My son sounded good. He was getting a cough

Are you going to graduation? We hope to if the weather is good.  Hope our boys don't get this cold!!

I will be there. Definately myself and older son and dil. Hopefully I can afford to get my youngest boy there too.
This is so very special to me. Can't wait to "meet" the families of the S.R.'s who are with my son. We are in Texas too. Austin area. Hugs!!

Looking forward to meeting y'all!  We are also from TX - San Antonio

Lots of us from Texas. Big State though. Did y'all watch the Battlestation 21 video one of the vet Mom's posted? It was pretty intense and informative. Can't wait to meet you all. Smile Ladies. We are getting closer to being able to communicate with our Brave Recruits regularly. This has been one of the toughest times of my life and you ladies are so great at keeping our morale up. God Bless.

I agree, very tough times. I don't think anyone else understands except us Moms!!! My first born leaving home, very tough.  Glad we have these groups. :-)  TX is a very BIG state!!
