To the Family of Christopher Walker:  Our hearts are heavy today as PIR is celebrated, a day you were to join in to celebrate with your new sailor.  He will always be a part of PIR 1/20/2012, Div 045.  He was at the finish line ---  just about to become a sailor, after so many weeks of hard work.  In our minds, he IS a sailor, right there with his shipmates.  I know it helps all attending PIR today to picture him among them in the PIR drill hall.

May the Lord comfort you during these such difficult days.  Your family and Christopher are not forgotten today...and we will be praying for you this afternoon as you lay him to rest.

The white ribbons above were lovingly made by our beloved N4Moms veteran, Lala.  She wanted to offer them to all attending PIR today, to show that Christopher would not be forgotten.

To the family of this fallen sailor, my deepest sympathies.  To his shipmates, may his spirit always be with you.  As you celebrate this day I'm proud that you also celebrate his memory and the fine young man he was.

My heart is heavy at the loss of this beautiful young man.  Many in this community have prayed and will continue to pray for him and your family. May you find some comfort in the wonderful memories you have of him.  My deepest sympathy...

My sincere condolences on your loss.  My prayers are with your family and may the memories of your fallen sailor help you find peace.

To the Walker Family and Friends,

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you as your mourn the loss of such a wonderful young man. As his division graduates today, many whom you have never met, will celebrate his life and honor his memory. May peace become your companion and comforter.

To the family of Christopher Walker, your family is in our familes thoughts and prayers today... and have been all week. I know words can not heal your hearts , but please know we are thinking of you.. I am praying that you are given strength during this time...God Bless You..

My heart hurts for you Walker family and you as well Amber. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that God can bring peace to all of you. Chris must have been a wonderful young man to choose to serve our country. He was willing to look out for all of us, even strangers by joining the Navy. Now I am sure he is still looking out for all of us from Heaven above. God bless you all, I will keep you in my prayers, Lora

Thank you Lala for the special ribbon memory.  To Christopher's family, thank you for sharing the video of your precious son.  I am hurting with you during this tragedy through our thoughts and prayers.  I hope we can help just a little by sharing your pain.   We have been and will continue to pray for you, Amber and Christopher's close friends.  He will not be forgotten.  May God give you strength through his son Jesus Christ during this chapter in your lives and always.

I cannot imagine what you are going through.  My heart hurts for you.  Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.  Your angel will always be watching over you.

To the family, loved ones and friends of Christopher Walker: I see the underlying spirit of this young man in the photos posted; these memories and experiences are a gift that can never be lost to you. Our hearts and prayers are with you, and I pray for your comfort and peace.

To all who celebrate PIR today, we stand with you as well in the memory of your shipmate. This day marks your accomplishment and a significant achievement as you join the ranks of sailors who passed before you and those who are to follow. Your families and friends stand tall with you today, and we wish you many blessings as you step forward in this worthy career and commitment. Go forth with your strength and courage and do GREAT THINGS. God bless . . .

Words dont seem to be enough.. our prayers and thoughts go out to the Walker family!!  As a Navy mom my heart aches , we are all in this together, please know your Navy family loves you and are sending you support every day in thought!
