DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Specific information on this policy change will be provided in the coming days and weeks.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your support.

RTC Graduation

**UPDATE 6/23/2022 - MASK MANDATE IS LIFTED -  Vaccinations still required

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Cristina had a good idea about all of us getting together for dinner Jan 19 (Thursday before PIR) instead of going to Sarge's Meet and Greet at the Sundance Saloon since there will be drinking there. Cristina and I both have young kids (some of you may also) and don't really want them in that atmosphere. I have been looking around for family friendly restaurants. Here are a few and a link to their Menu. If you are interested in doing this, please leave a comment below and we can figure out which restaurant and what time would be the best for all of us. Also, if you know of another family friendly (no sports bars) restaurants close to the base please leave the name and a link to the Menu in the comments :)

Haven't booked yet, will probably wait a week or two also. I have scoped it out however...

Oooooo, Sexy...LOL....Used to do my daughter's hair in those...

Have we decided on this yet or is it still up in the air. Would love to meet all you ladies ;)

we still have a few weeks to figure it all out. I think the kids would love the rain forest cafe! Sarge's meet and greet starts at 5 so we could all agree to meet for dinner at 7 that way if anyone wants to stop by Sarge's meet and greet they can and still have time to come for dinner. Just a thought. Lets start discussion this more lol.

I think getting together for dinner after the meet and greet would be fun.  Cristina our daughter is 16 so that would fun for them to have someone close in age to hangout with too!  It would be a lot of fun to meet everyone in person.  We are game to get together!:)

I think we should start voting for the restaurant of choice so we can make a reservation. Let's start discussing :) I vote Rainforest cafe say 7:00 - 7:15? What do you guys think?

Yea, I think Rainforest Cafe at that time as well. I believe it has something for everyone's food choices.

I would love to go, but don't get into O'Hare until 4:45pm, so not sure when we will get there...Will do a "Maybe, but sure hope so" for now :)

That works Sam. Don't forget we should have time on Friday before PIR starts to hang out too. 6:30-9 is a long time lol
