The first one was from the form letter:

Ship 09 Div 045

Recruit Training Command

3415 Sailor Dr.

Great Lakes, IL 60088

The second one was from a personal letter he wrote

Ship 09, USS John F. Kennedy, Div 045

3600 Ohio Street

Great Lakes, IL 60088

The form letter went to his mom a week prior. I got the personal letter telling my what I can and cannot send and the address to use. But I think the address he gave me isn't the correct address to use. I think that is he's return address for him to include on the envelope.

I would use the one on the form letter. It is the same one I have, so since that seems to be the one that multiple people have I think it is the best one. Hopefully a few more who have a recruit in this division will comment on the address.....its all so confusing at times.

Yea i think the RDCs tells them to write their addresses different. Also, on the Zip don't forget the last 4 digits because each ship has a different set of 4 digits that go behind the 60088. Ship 09 is 60088-3515. I am getting worried because I have not received a letter (other than the form letter) from my recruit. :(

futureHMwife....the 3515 is the four digit number for the postal service, it was the same for my son's last division address.  It is probably a good idea to put it, I sometimes forget and the letters still get there, so don't worry your letters will get to him.  When our son left, he didn't start getting our letters until the second, almost third week...then they started pouring in since I mailed one from the third day he left.  I got his address from the recruiter which was good since I still have never received his form letter and he left on Nov 1st to boot camp.  I left you a message on the main page about the letters....I have gotten them quite frequently, however, since my son has been asmoed into this 045 division we did not get any from him this last week.  I think it is the whole division that has not gotten to send out mail yet.  So know that you will get one...I think this week should be a good possibility.  Our son said they mail out letters on Fridays and Sundays...now that was in his old division, so not sure if it is the same for all divisions...I guess we shall see, but my fingers are crossed for a letter!!!

Gahh- I'm so anxious for tomorrow!
Last monday I got my first letter from my boy (it was postmarked Friday the 25th), and I'm really hoping the pattern will continue, I'm just itching to hear from him, to know what's going on!!! >_<"
I hope you all get letters from your husbands/boyfriends/sons, too~
Keeping my fingers crossed. ♥

I think tomorrow will be a great day for a letter Almyria....I am excited with you.  I love to check the mail!!!:)

I know!!!
I get off the schoolbus, and before I even drop my books at my house, I run up to grab the mail.
And every single day I don't get a letter, I try my best to just kinda brush it off, and remind myself, "Hey; there's always tomorrow, perhaps I'll get a letter then."

I finally got some letters! Two, actually, one from Thanksgiving and idk when the other was written because he didnt date it :\. O well he says he is going good! I can't wait to see him!

I am glad to hear you got some letters....I know it just made your day!!!  Enjoy them as we wait for the next one's!:)

O I am. They are short but so wonderful. He said Thanksgiving was tough but that's expected since it was a holiday. I knew my mail people were evil haha

For whatever reason all of our letters today were from Thanksgiving and one other letter from this past week sometime.  They must of not had letter privileges this last week.  Not sure what happened, but it was a great day at the mailbox!:)

I got a letter today too. He said he hasn't gotten any of my letters :( I've sent like 6 letters already. Maybe he has to earn them first. My guy sounded so depressed. I can't wait until I get a phone call from him. Hopefully that will cheer him up.
