Welcome to PIR 01/20/2012

OPSEC, OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmust importance. Please take the time to read the Opsec and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names are never allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but discouraged as their RDC's read this site and can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

mome2jord, I couldn't agree more. I have only been on this site for A very short time but wanted to tell everyone Thank You for all the support and answering my questions that I had. Life is to short to dwell on the little things.......Here's A quote I thought ya'll might enjoy: Life is all about timing...the unreachable become reachable, the unavailable become available, the unattainable...attainable, Have the patience, wait it out it's all about timing.

I will say what a crazy, sad and anxiety filled week.  I think emotions have gone all over the place the last few days and I hope that when we are all feeling this way we can take a step back and take a moment to look around.  As we have approached this day many in 045 and 046 have been excited for the "I'm a Sailor Call" which was postponed.  Even though we were a bit disappointed, we should remember that there was a family this week who do not get the chance for a delay in a battlestation.  This does not take away the fact that we have family members who still have to get through boot camp and graduate, but what it should mean is that the speed bumps we hit aren't as big as they look.  I pray that we can all take a breath, a moment and be thankful for what we have and remember once our loved one joined the Navy we agreed to get on the ride, hold on and roll along.  So prayers for the Walker family continue, prayers for all of us, our recruits (and new Sailors) and make it the best we can.  Attacking each other will not help the situation and as people got upset, the truth was the battlestations did in fact get delayed, so tempers flared really for nothing.  Hugs to you all and let's get through the week and lift up our Recruits/Sailors!!!

And thanks FTLW!  You are too funny!  :-)

Just sent the BattleStations Message about 045/046.  It will NOT be in your emails on this site, but hopefully is somewhere in your personal emails, junk/spam, etc.
