I cant believe PIR is almost here! So excited to see my son and so proud! (09/045)

@Lala..Sorry to read about your dad and I wil say prayers for him (and you!) Also thank you for the ribbons for DIV 045!

My dad's blood pressure bottomed out a few days ago and he had to go to a heart specialist yesterday. My brother was going to take him but got called in to work so I took him instead. I am glad I went because it looks like there is something wrong with the left side of his heart. He will be going in for some more tests in a few,  Please keep him in your prayers.

I made as many of the white ribbons as I could get done. I simply ran out of time. I made close to 50 with his name and DIV on them and then probably over a hundred plain white ones. If she runs out before you get one I am really sorry and I hope you understand :-) I did as many as I could. I think if only one person per family in DIV 045 take one with the name then most of the families for that division should get one. Then other divisions can get the plain white ones. If someone who is going wants to make some more plain ones to hand out and you have the time that would be awesome. All you need is some small white ribbon cut into 6" strips. You can use a safety pin to pin them on your shirt or coat. You don't even have to glue them just loop it and pin it in place from underneath.

Enjoy the time with your Sailors and tell them I said thank you very much for choosing to serve our country <3

Good morning all.  TWO MORE DAYS....such excitement and celebration awaits you then!  Happy for you!  Phone calls today from the newest sailors!  HOOYAH!

Good morning! I've officially caught whatever cold my youngest has been fighting for a week. I'm a better patient than he is so I'm following orders, gargling with saltwater and taking vitamin C. Hopefully, I'll kick this before Friday morning.

I hope you all get that call this afternoon. I'm sure it's been a long week since the first round of calls from 043/044 but it will be worth the wait when you hear your Sailor's voice.

Hoping for some "very special" phone calls tomorrow afternoon from some very special SAILORS!  HOOYAH!  Remember, they can start about 2 pm GL time and can go for a while....sometimes they start later---usually don't start before then.  Phones in the bras all day...don't want to miss this special call!

Goodnight all!

From RTC FB Page (about two hours ago):

Congratulations to this week's Captain's Cup winners! Div. 046 won for the non-integrated divisions, and Div. 043 won for the integrated divisions

Lala, what a wonderful gesture for SR W.  I can just picture that division sitting there with their white ribbons on, in addition to their PIR ribbons, and how wonderful that will look to the sailors as they look into the stands.  I would imagineit will bring some tears to the eyes... what a wonderful tribute to him.  God Bless his family/friends/fellow SRs (who would then be sailors) during such a difficult time.

Thank you, Cristina, for taking the responsibility of passing these out!

Hi everyone, I will be at Sarge's Meet & Greet. Please come and find me so I can give you a ribbon to wear in honor our fallen recruit. I hope to see you there. Safe travels everybody.
