Hi Navy Mom ...my son goes to Pescaola , FL after BC.. that's also where my other Sailor is...

Ladies, I made this questionnaire to gather data from hell week. I found that I kept asking questions and it didn't seem like I ever got specific questions answered. I used the questionnaire that was on this site in the beginning and got some good data. So I designed this one by looking at the day by day things they do  in hell week to ask everything I wanted to know. Feel free to send it to your SR, I sent it with a preaddressed stamped envelope back to me to make it easy for them to answer and mail back.

ladies, on my questionnaire the questions started renumbering after question 4, sorry

Ladies when I spoke with my son on Christmas Eve, he said that he thought he was going to be able to call in 2 weeks which would be tomorrow. I don't know if that is going to happen, but be prepared and have your phones by you today, tomorrow and Sunday just in case. I am driving up north tomorrow, there is an hour where there is no cell service, I am so nervous he will call during that time. Today they are doing day 2 of week 5 of fire fighting. It is amazing to think how far they have come.

Is anyone staying at the Quality Inn in Waukegan?   We will be arriving on the 26th.  Hoping I can meet up with other parents / family who have son's on the same ship and division.  We plan on taking the shuttle to the graduation ceremony as well.

we are staying at Springhill Marriott Suite. We are going to drive and park at the metra train station across the street from the entrance so that we can leave after without worrying about the shuttle service. Someone that went thru this a few months ago said it works real good that way.

That sounds like a good idea as well.  We might take that into consideration instead of doing a shuttle.

We are staying at the Quality Inn.  We are also arriving on the 26th.  We plan on going to Sarge's Meet & Greet.

Got several letters for everyone in the family today.  My daugther made Sharpshooter, she got 216/240, she said she missed Expert by 15 pts.  I am very proud of her.  She was looking forward to Firefighting.

She said she is missing hugs the most(and she is not a super hugger)  She said it's hard to not have that "human contact."  So, I will be giving her a bunch of hugs when we are not out in public :D

My son also said he also made Sharpshooter. Did you daughter say anything about getting to call tomorrow? My son told me on Christmas that they hopefully will be able to call in two weeks which will be tomorrow.

We are also going to Sarge's meet and greet. Can't wait to meet everyone.

She mentioned thinking she would get a call, she did say they had to earn them.  I am hoping to hear from her tomorrow. :D  She also said she loves her division.  She has been so positive.  I think she is with a great group of people.  She even likes the RDC's.

Which Sarge's meet and greet is everyone going to attend, the one at the Ramada or the Sundance Saloon?  I want to go to but would love to meet up with some of the ladies on this board.
