Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!
Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!
Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

There are 2 more nights of BattleStations for this group. Although we can't post the dates/divisions, you all can probably figure most out. 3 go tonight, 2 go tomorrow night.

Congrats to All of you....please anyone who has a loved one in div079 could message me I am flying out at 11:30 tomorrow from California and my plane doesn't land till 5:45pm. If my son calls I may not be able to get it maybe someone could get a message to him letting him know I'm proud of him and I'll be there. Since we're all flying together tomorrow I may miss his call.

Madukes...my son is also in 04 82 and no call today. We need to take one day at a time. Calls just started today with more divisions yet to go.

Jessiesmom many many prayers being said. I have called my pastor and she is on the church's prayer list. I know this is probably one of the most difficult times in your life and your sailors. You will get through this and it will make your family stronger. I pray you get some rest tonight

Hello Everyone, I've been stuck in traffic here in Atlanta for 5hrs:( Did anyone get a call from SR in ship 04 div 082? I have not... Planning on leaving Atlanta tomorrow at 1:30pm...Congrats to all that got their calls!
