Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 091 and 092

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Thank you for creating this group! I cannot wait to meet all of you! Our son has spoken highly of the SR in these divisions. I'm so happy the have each other to lean on, study with, and support;)

Is it true that all guests not on the Access List can go to the Chapel and watch the LIVESTREAM for PIR 2/6/15

J'swife56, my son mentioned that to me too that extra guest can stay at the Chapel but i think we just need to take a chance since : see response from the administration:  Good luck - i cant wait to see my SR - Feb 6

FOREVERMOM:  We have been told 2 different things about watching Livestream in the Chapel.  RTC asks that extras please stay off base and watch this at their hotels.  Many of the hotels stream it for their guests.  However, other families have been able to watch it in the Chapel.  So, our suggestion is that if your extras want to try and get into the Chapel, then they can come with you but should have return transportation available in case they cannot get on base.  There is no way extras will be allowed in PIR Hall to see it live, so no expectations there.

FOREVER MOM, I am thinking you might get more or better answers if you ask this type of question (about the chapel) in the larger PIR group or bootcamp moms group......"veteran" moms don't come into these discussions by ship as much.

Well, I happen to have the time right now to cruise the discussions, but mtnestr is right.  The general questions like this need to be asked on the PIR main page normally.   We really don't have time to get to all of the questions in the division groups!

Also, a heads up....in the last PIR group of 13 divisions, like this one has, ....one lady reported that no one was allowed to watch in the Chapel (extras) because they reserved that for overflow from PIR Hall since 13 divisions is alot to be in there.  So return transportation for your extras is a must.  If you take a shuttle from the hotels, most likely that driver can take your extras back if need be.

We are staying in Navy lodge, isn't it the lodge is inside the base?  thanks for the info.

My SR says there is a rumor that they'll get phone calls today!
My son said in his letter that they would be allowed to call today...nothing yet!

No call here either. Although I did receive a call last Saturday.

CALLS! :D
My SR is doing well and enjoys the food!

I got a call. He is doing well and making a lot of friends.

Got a call around 7:00 pm. Sounds good. Did say he's made a lot of great friends!
