Whites are for the summer only and blues are for the winter.

Ok I have a question. I just checked my SR bank account and noticed that he has a pending charge from Subway & Taco Makers of Illinois. He went to "Ricky Heaven" on 1/24 but he didn't have his check card at the time (local bank card) plus even if he had it wouldn't still be pending. Besides that the charges weren't there on Friday morning. Could he have gotten RH again. Is there another reason that he would have been able to go there this close to PIR?

Exciting week!.....

Haven't heard of switching uniforms when traveling on orders in a group...seems that information is out of context...my sailor always travels in uniform...love the blues, made of wool and really sharp looking...even the white don't show the dirt that bad and can easy be cleaned up due to the material they are made out of...

Ok, so we think that Div 083-086 went through last night (BattleStations).  If we are right on that, then calls should come in as early as 2 pm Central time today...remember, not all can call early...some may get on their FB accts first (they have a chance to use the computers) so be checking their FB pages to see if you have a sailor.  Please ask your sailor if all in that division passed and post that.  Some may have "watch" and not be able to call today and it would be good for those families to know that they have a sailor.

TJsMom:  It is up to you on which shuttle service you use.  Sarge probably gives you a little more personal service!  We didn't know about Sarge when I was up there, so used the area shuttle service and it was fine.  Had nice drivers both ways, no problem getting there or back, and our sailor returned to the hotel on the shuttle with us.

As BeachBunny said, the price is the same no matter which shuttle service you use.

BlueForever:  Your sailors will be in their blues, not their whites, so no worries.  They don't show the dirt as much.  I have never heard this before...that the sailors are changing into their NSUs and then changing back.  Hmmm....

I saw the following post on FB  - "Recommend sailors change into Navy Service Uniform (NSU's) after arrival to the airport. The Navy requires them to check out
and report for duty in their dress uniform (blues or whites). The whites will
get trashed if they stay in them all day. They can change back into whites and
be "squared away" when they arrive at their next duty station. They
should pack their NSU's and black belt at the top of their sea bag before
leaving RTC."  Should we tell our SRs this?
