My son is also Ship 11 Div 061.  We live in IN, but he left from the Louisville, KY MEPS.  We've received a couple of letters from him but no phone call yet.  How about you?

My son is also this division, we live outside of Philadelphia. We received one short call on 12/18 and received our first letter on 12/30. Sounds like they are working hard, tired, but coming together. Have you begun making arrangements for PIR?

We will be driving up since it is only a 5 hour drive.  We also booked a rooms at Homewood Suites.  We only had the initial phone call home so far.  Hoping to receive a phone call this week.  He sounds very happy, but tired in his letters.  39 days until PIR!!!  Have you made arrangements yet?  I wonder if our sons talk to each other.

Hi there:

Our son left Tampa on 12/7/11 and so far we've received only one phone call, but 3 good letters.  I noticed that you are staying at Homewood Suites.  That's where we've booked our rooms as well!  We look forward to meeting everyone.  Have you committed to one of the meet & greet's on Thursday night?  Not sure which one we will be attending yet.  It would be cool if we all met up at the same place.  PIR will be here before you know it!

Hi!

Yes, we are staying at the Homewood Suites.  We will be driving up since it is only a 5 hour drive for us.  However, I am starting to get a little nervous about the weather.  It seems like they keep having heavy snowfalls on Thurs and Fri. up that way.  We haven't committed to a meet & greet yet, but would love to meet up with you.  It has been wonderful to be able to get on here and facebook and chat with family members of others who are at RTC with my son.   We've received several letters from our son and he seems to be doing well.  It appears that BS21 should be late next week and then PIR is the week after.  It's hard to believe that we are getting to this point already!

Hi there

We received a phone call on Jan. 4th, which happened to be my husband's birthday.  He said it was the best birthday present he could have asked for, especially since our son is the baby of the family. They talked for about 20 minutes and our son sounded really good and happy to be there.  His letters sound very upbeat and since he's not really much of a letter writer, I've been pretty impressed with the details he has provided. I hope all of these boys are having a good experience and wish them all the best of luck!

We're flying in from Tampa on Wednesday so that we can navigate our way around the area, as well as getting there in time for PIR.  We're worried about the weather, too!  Let's all pray for good weather!

Ladies...thoughts? Would ever anyone chooses is okay by me.

Good timing.  I just got on here to see if anyone had answered this yet.  What about. a darker green.  I'm actually ok with any shade though

MissNora answered on the other forum here and suggested kelly green.

Oh I love it!!!!  Thank you so much.

You are very welcome :-)

Hi Murray,

Did you order the scarf. Where do we go to order?
