My son is also Ship 07 and DIV 064 - I started a small discussion in another area - have you received any mail or have you gotten a call?  Merry Christmas

That's cool, no we have not received any letters or call from my daughter except the short note when we received the packet on her graduation.  Have you gotten anything from your son?  When does your son graduate?

Any recruits on SHIP 07 DIV 064 will graduate on February 10, 2012.  I have received the box and form letter.  I have not gotten any regular letters but am hoping for one this week.  I got a phone call about 10 days ago because my son neeeded information for some paperwork, it was a very short call but I was happy to hear his voice if only for a few minutes.

Same here. No calls no letters same graduation date ship and division.

My son is also Ship 07/ Div 64.  Just wondering--has anyone from this group received a "real" letter from their SR yet? I have not--just the form letter and back page note.  I am still writing him everyday.

I haven't either - but we also keep writing every day - no news is good news right?

I got a "real" letter today!  It was so great - just to hear about it all - the good and the bad! Hoping you got one too

I am so gald you heard from your son, I am so jealous, we have not received a letter from my daughter.  I am hoping that we will get a call on Sunday, as it has been the three weeks.  I pray that he is doing well.

My son is in Ship 7, Division 064 and graduates on 2/10/12.  Anxiously waiting for a letter or phone call.

Yes, I am hoping & praying for a letter this week---actually, I'd be happy with a postcard!

I just saw this news article (click link below) on the surplus of sailors in the Navy. It is on our N4M web site.

I am thankful our sons & daughters got in when they did.  It looks to me like they won't be taking as many recruits in the future--unless the economy picks up.
