Oh, Thanks so much! Dawn

Ellen - Maybe our boys are scrubbing toilets side by side!

That's Right!

I love hearing about everyone's letters :) haven't gotten any from my husband. Thanks for sharing everyone :)

Morning all ~ and thanks for sharing your letters! It helps so much to hear the different things that are mentioned in them!  I finally received a letter yesterday!!! Thank you Lord! It was a one-pager and of course I really wanted a 32-pager but my SR sounded good! It was dated Christmas Day - so I got it in 5 days. He was mainly giving me instructions on what not to send (LOL!) like I was going to send him a bouquet of flowers or something...but he did say keep the letters coming - that's what kept them going! Guess I'll write him 10 letters today! I must admit Lorimc and I love the same SR - he's my son and her husband, so I get the benefit of hearing about her letters too.  She got 2 yesterday, but I'll let her tell you about those.  I look forward to PIR and meeting you all!!! Blessings!!! And Happy New Year!

Robin - How great that you and Lori get to share this experience! I can't wait to hear about her letters too. Happy New Year and see you in February!

Hope

congrats hermomi! so glad you heard from her! robin too! Happy New Year ! Everyone!

So glad for you lorimic! It is overwhelming! Yes, gosh I hope we get a call! I need to read up on phone calls home again and see what time period they are most likely to call!

Last night I was reading up on graduation and things like that. I ran across a post by a mom of a previous grad saying what their off hours were on Sundays and when they are most likely to call. Anyone know? It seems like she said 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.. I can't seem to find it now.

Okay I'm feeling a little frustrated! I was reading somewhere that if our recruits were staying in the great lakes for their training they get to stay with you over the weekend. Now I'm seeing elsewhere that's not true! Says they go ahead and report to A school Friday. Then they can visit you but have to go back every night. This stuff is confusing to me! Plus, I don't even now where Nick is going to a school!

Thank you lorimc! I'll check out the job thing tomorrow! Bleary eyed tonight! LOL! Yes, I find it a little frustrating it's almost too much info if you know what I mean! It can be really helpful but I am learning to look at post dates too! Like you said I discovered that now they don't let them stay out overnight! Thanks for answering! No phone call again for me! You?  Funny, Friday I was on cloud nine over the letters! Now wanting my phone call but it says no guarantee on calls. I need to remember to be grateful for what I did get! Good Night! God Bless!

Oh so they don't just call on Sunday? They can call at other times? Gee whiz! For some reason I thought they only get offered opportunities to call on Sunday!
