Oh so glad to hear that she is doing well! Wisdom teeth removal can be very painful! renewed! wow! I know you are very relieved! Just recently my sister's daughter and my best friend's daughter had their wisdom teeth removed and both of them got dry socket! It was beyond painful! That's why I got so worried about her Hermomi! Not to mention being in boot camp away from home! God smiled on her for sure! What spirit she has!
Welcome Smurfmom! How are you holding up during bootcamp so far?
Got two letters from my daugther:
The first one said "We are so blessed to have such great RDCs...they have so much heart!" She goes on to say that she is excited to be fitted for her additional uniforms dress blues, whites, and the peanut butters. And then of course she mentioned the food...again...."speaking of peanut butter the food is amazing!" ... how she gets to eat bacon and jello every day. That girl loves bacon.
Her second letter talks about PIR and how excited she is to see all of us. She was looking forward to seaman training wih the USS Marlinspike and she gave her younger brothers an order to practice their square knots this week. --Gotta love the first borns, always telling people what to do even when they're at boot camp :)
@ Susan,
How much snow is on the ground?
Blowing and snowing all day but in the end...we probably only got a 1/2" to 3/4" here in the far western suburbs.
Thank you lorimc I will check out the FB site in am. I am a little sad as well that my daughter has not called since Christmas since I figured she would be able to by now, however, I would not put it past her to call a friend instead since we have talked to her and both her father and I work nights. Can't wait to get to PIR!
Thanks all!
Finally got a letter and she never received a chance to call she had a Ship Staff Meeting during her phone time, such is the Navy life! Good to hear from her. I see it is really really cold today.
