hi, nice to meet you! i was hoping i received a letter today and yes received it. Where are you from? what state?. I am going to have to book our flights now for Thursday the 9th.

Yeah ladies...I'm so glad we are corresponding and that all of us received form letter today. Mailed on the 16th, three mail days!! I have to say my son has always had horrible hand writing and the envelope and blanks were done so neatly.  I questioned if at first if it was his hand writing but I could recognize certain letters with his style.  How about yours?

We are from Livingston, Montana, where is everyone else from?  I'm excited to see him for graduation too.  I will book in the next day or two.  Our son is gunnersmate, how about yours?

The form letter was way better then the "BOX", now that we received both of them hopefully we will get a real letter or better yet a phone call! Hope to hear back from both of you.

My son is a Corpsman. We are from Phoenix, AZ. Yes indeed waiting for a real letter. i mailed out Christmas Cards and letters today as well. Talk to you soon.

Hello Ladies,

We are from Ramona California. I too am anxious to get a real letter. My son is AECF and we won't know for a few weeks if he is FC or ET...so many letters. Geeze the military has a love for shortening things. It is like a language all it's own. We are looking forward to PIR. I booked the hotel, airline and rental car today. I didn't want to miss out on the prices they have right now. I booked at the Navy Lodge because of the time of year we will be going. February can be really snowy in Chicago...don't want to be too far from the base.

Hello,

We have family in Ramona, an Uncle Tom......

Hi McJane !!  My is also needing to decide on FC or ET.  He is also Ship 11 DIV 67 !!!!

Signing in with Ship 11 Div 067 Mom's too!  Glad to see you all again!

Hello DEEDEEMOM....glad to have you aboard. LOL.
